"The Impact Of Attitude”
 

The longer I live, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance or skill. It will make or break a team, a company or a home. The remarkable thing is that we have a choice every day about the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past. We cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. The only thing we can do is play on the one strength that we have and that is our attitude."

Suiter steps in at Hilhi for his first head job
Lloyd Suiter has experience.
 That tends to happen when you work some 30 years as an assistant coach in both the boys and girls basketball.
 But in all that time, one thing had eluded Suiter: A head coaching position.
 Until now.
 Suiter will officially run a program for the first time, following Monday’s announcement that he has been hired  as the new
head girls basketball coach at Hillsboro High School.
 “It’s a dream job for me,” Suiter said Wednesday by phone. “I’m a retired school teacher, so this is going to be like a full-time job. I get to coach without having to worry about providing for my family and that kind of stuff.
 “So I’m really excited about it.”
 Suiter has previous coaching stops at Sunset (boys), Jesuit (boys),
Lakeridge (girls), and Hilhi (girls), among other.
 Most recently, he spent last year as a Spartans assistant under Tiffany Schmidt,  who stepped down after one season to pursue a master’s degree.
 Hilhi athletic director Steve Drake called Suiter the “perfect fit” for the job, based on his wealth of experience, his ability to devote full-time to the position and his under-standing of the (next page)
